Entries

• BGP transit and peering edge

  Cisco IOS XE. Dual-homed external BGP to two upstream internet service providers, inbound and outbound prefix filtering, maximum-prefix protection, local preference and AS_PATH prepending for traffic engineering.

• Core routing underlay

  Juniper Junos. IS-IS level 2 core with OSPF at the aggregation edge, authenticated adjacencies, reference bandwidth policy, and loop-free alternate fast reroute.

• MPLS Layer 3 VPN provider edge

  Cisco IOS XR. VRF definition, route distinguisher and route target assignment, per-VRF import and export policy, LDP label distribution and MP-BGP VPNv4 sessions to the route reflectors.

• Carrier Ethernet quality of service

  Nokia SR OS. Ethernet virtual private line with an ingress policer enforcing a committed information rate, egress shaping, and DiffServ class mapping across the four MEF traffic classes.

• Broadband aggregation switching

  Arista EOS. VLAN allocation plan for a broadband access ring, tagged uplinks to the broadband network gateway, subscriber isolation, storm control and spanning tree edge protection.
